“Evan has been my piano teacher for about 3 years now, and I’ve fully enjoyed every lesson I have had. I have been playing piano for 10+ years, and the piano teacher I used to have did not have a very flexible schedule, and taught me techniques that actually hurt my hands and wrists. Fortunately, when I switched to Evan, he was able to fix my techniques and habits in just a few lessons. I’m now able to play the songs that I used to be physically incapable of playing, and I am very grateful for that. In addition, he is incredibly polite, understanding, and humorous, which makes each lesson all the more enjoyable.

If you are looking for a piano teacher, Evan is the best teacher you’ll ever have. Period.”

“Evan is a phenomenal teacher! My son has improved exponentially since he started lessons with Evan. He also passed Level 2 of the Certificate of Merit this year, and we couldn’t be more proud. Evan knows how to teach kids and get them enthusiastic about learning the piano. He knows how to tap into his student’s strengths by varying instruction and adapting his lessons to fit the individual needs of each kid. My son absolutely loves his lessons and I couldn’t be happier!”

As a previously self-taught player, Evan’s instruction really helped my ability reach another level. Very proud of being able to incorporate chords, inversions, major/minor, 7ths, etc. into my repertoire. As a recreational player, this allowed me to take a big step forward.  I now feel I can play along with most songs with minimal effort.

I enjoyed understanding the theory and being able to practically apply that to my playing.  It was great to see my playing to appreciable steps forward in a short amount of time.

Evan was always patient with my questions and was mindful of what I wanted to accomplish as a player.  He tailored lessons to balance my overall musical education with my goals as a player.  He always provided a variety of different learning exercises which made lessons fun and engaging
